The Double Dare Gang
The Double Dare Gang adventures comprise two books of short stories for children of 9-12 years-old. They are part of the ALPS Storymaker package and support the storymaker teaching manual in two ways:-
The ddg adventures are marketed in a way that makes them attractive to readers crossing the primary-to-secondary bridge. It is hoped that children will read the stories as they would any other paperback fiction; become familiar with the tales, warm to them and `come to own` them. This process creates a safe framework within which children can approach the storymaker activities with confidence.
