ALPS StoryMaker

ALPS StoryMaker is an educational resource which uses the medium of fiction to allow children to understand, learn and practise the principles and techniques of accelerated (brain-based) learning. ALPS (Accelerated Learning Programmes in Schools / Accelerated Learning in Primary Schools) is an acronym coined by Alistair Smith.

The StoryMaker package consists of a teaching manual (featured below) plus companion fiction in the form of two books of short stories - The Double Dare Gang Adventures books 1&2. To find out more about these, click on the logo...

It is also hoped to add to the StoryMaker package in the form of more fiction and a range of CD-ROMs under the banner of Authors Interactive. Each CD-ROM will feature an author whose fiction supports the StoryMaker teaching materials.
